Some of our clients have no income, no health coverage, no family and are homeless. Many are also dealing with mental health issues. Life can become overwhelming. Often people have no one to turn to and come to us for help. We are also able to assist individuals with other concerns or issues they may have.
Medical Equipment Lending
We lend (free of charge) durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, knee walkers, commodes, toilet risers, crutches and canes to individuals who need them temporarily. We also help with acquiring equipment that may be needed permanently.
FEMA Grants
We administer the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) funds/grants to any Mower County residents who qualify.
